Energy Management Systems (EMS)

Theory: EMS systems monitor A/C input current to the coach and shed less critical loads when necessary to prevent blowing feed circuit breakers.

Current: 20/30 amp systems are active any time 120 volt power is present. 50 amp systems assume that the current available is adequate for any required load and 'sleep' when 50 amp service is available. Once the service drops to 20/30 amp service, the system 'wakes' and begins managing loads.

Inverter Support: Provides an additional sub panel built in for inverter loads.

PMC: Can provide the timing functions for RV Multiplex systems. (See Multiplex modules)

Optional Control Panel: The optional control panel allows the user to monitor EMS functions and to select between 20/30 amp service.
